Shopping is a delight in Riga. Visit the ‘Bergs Bazaar’ – hardly a
market but more an area of exquisite shops offering designer and local
bargains.
And when you’ve shopped till you’ve dropped, go relax at the nearby
chocolate factory where not only can you witness sweet treats
being made in front of you but you can also sample and buy them!

By far the best part of riga is the old town! its where all of the best buildings bars and restaurants are for any tourist, You can visit the Dom cathedral and St Cristobal which allows you to go up the spire and see the whole city! Also worth wondering out to the Russian Orthodox church which is very decorative and when i was there (2 Months ago) had a large market outside.
The old town is pretty small so in 4 days you'll cover it easily! i suggest you spend most of your time just relaxing in the cafes around the squares drinking the local beers!

Go to old town first - there are loads of bars and clubs to spend time and money in. Then visit place called Lido on Krasta St - it's bistro on a scale you can't imagine - fun for all young and old. There's also go-carting place in Mezciems, bar's not nice though. And if you get a chance go to town called Sigulda not too far an hour or so driving - there's bobslay there, you can have a go on it for a small fee - goes @ 100km/h - best fun ever!!!

Have pork chops in the 'jack daniels bar'. I did, 4 times :)
Have a walk around the big marketplace and marvel and all the pig pigs heads. Climb that chuch tower. I dont think I went to the museum of oppression, a little depressing for a holiday.

The old town. I recommend you walk all around the city center, there's a lot of beautiful places there.
