A "stable Cuba"?

The Communist regime in Cuba is so precarious that it has to call out the troops every time the dictator goes to the hospital for an operation! The rulers are so terrified of the Cuban people that the Comandante's health has to be kept a state secret!

The Cuban people yearn for freedom, and did so long before anyone ever heard of President Bush and Secy. Rice. Just look at the pictures of the streets of Havana. People there still drive 1950s cars. Every one of those old cars represents a yearning for the prosperity that Cubans once enjoyed, but that has been crushed under the boots of the Communists. No dictator, no matter how brutal, is going to be able to repress that desire forever.

Oh yea Cuba is just a model of a stable government. Another shining example of how well socialism works. One guy at the top who will kill anybody who doesn't agree him. Let's all take a trip to Little Havana and ask the Cuban exiles if they think Cuba is a stable country. Face facts gang old Fidel is going to die soon, and with him another in the long line of great failed socialist experiments. Cuba will rise up again, it's a beautiful country, and once it is safe for people to visit again, it will become a tourist haven like it used to be. I know it just tears liberals up that the honest people of Cuba might actually become successful again, and put another nail in the coffin of their failed socialist ideology. What a shame!

To the person who posted the drug comment. I think you are confusing Cuba with South America, but then that's a discussion for another question.

I can't wait until 2008 and HILLARY gets in, I'm gonna be in everyones face "and you thought Bush was bad HA HA HA"< we'll be sending money to Syria, and Iran, BTW Cuba has NEVER BEEN STABLE ! EVER ! Al Gore wrote a letter to the airlines years ago, asking for more security, they sent a letter back saying that it would be too expensive ALONG with a $130,000 contribution check to him, he took the money, and sent back a letter stating that is was not the intention of this administration to raise airline costs, and put the check into his pocket, so don't ever let anyone blow sunshine up your *** about 911 being Bushes FAULT ! The info. i just gave can be easily verified, unlike the B.S about Bush making profits on oil !
