If you want to make your own flash cards, you can use almost any word processing software, such as MS Word or Open Office. There is a vast amount of free clip art on the Internet ... the best way to find it is to use Google for 'free clip art' or to type the name of the specific image and use Google Images.

If you trust your own artistic ability, you can use MS Paint (which is already installed with Windows) or it may be easier to draw your own images on paper in good black outlines, scan them and, perhaps, colour them in Paint.
