yes and their called shapeshifters. It's almost like a mirage but much more complicated. They have to do this because human beings are not ready to accept them in any way shape of form. I mean, come on, we're still fighting about something as silly as the color of our skin when really it doesn't even freaking matter. If we can't get along with each other WHY should they show us that, not only that they are aliens but that they look VERY different from you and I.

You know, I'm such a sci-fi fan that I really hope that it's true. I read something the other day that said we actually are a mutant breed of what aliens first found here and them. I think that we are being arrogant in the belief that aliens dont exsist, who the hell are we to think we are the only intelligent life form in this or other galaxies. How do we know that isnt where we all started?. (Ok waiting to be bashed by the holy lot now!).... I want to believe...

Some don't need to hide. They look similar enough to pass as human. Others, could not get away with walking amongst the populace unless they had a means to adequately disguise their drastically different and to some, grotesque appearence.

I'm a scientist - i believe that just because i haven't seen any doesn't mean they aren't here. who knows, maybe... although a few of my raver friends could definitely be aliens...
