Pantera is a heavy metal rock band. They were very popular in the 90's. Pantera was founded in 1990 by brothers Vinnie and Darrell Abbott. Their best song in my opinion is "Walk" from the album "Vulgar Display Of Power" released in 1992. You may have heard about the murder of guitarist Darrell "Dimebag" Abbott. He was gunned down onstage in a Columbus, OH concert on December 7th, 2004. You probably saw a picture of him, brother Vinnie, or frontman Philip Anselmo.

pantera is a power groove metal band from texas founded by brothers vinnie paul and dimebag darrell ... they're my favorite band apparently and was really pretty heavy ... one of the flag bearers during the 90's ... they're disbanded though after some feud with band members and totally gone after dimebag darrell was shot to death in shooting incident about more than a year ago ... yet, his memory still lives on ... RIP dimebag!
