Sixteen Candles is good, which you mentioned. Weird Science with Kelly LeBrock. How about Footloose? St. Elmos Fire. Adventures in Babysitting with Elizabeth Shue. The Karate Kid. Dirty Dancing. Fame.
Does anyone remember Xanadu with Olivia Newton John?
War Games with Matthew Broderick?
Valley Girl starring Nicholas Cage (Can you believe that?)
Teen Wolf.
The brat pack in action, The Outsiders. Remember C. Thomas Howell?
Finally, the ultimate teen flicks, Risky Business with Tom Cruise, Blue Lagoon, and Endless Love with Brooke Shields!

Breakfast Club has to be top favourite - it really touched me. Weird Science is a great fun 80s teen comedy. Fame was always there for an extra dimension too.

Little Darlin's with Tatum O'Neal and Kristi McNichol was good. The best teen movie I've seen was from 1979 and is called 'Over The Edge.' It's a little difficult to find but worth the look. The soundtrack from it is really good too.
