Best time to go is in October, when it is cooler, but before it rains too much. To get there by car, take the North-South Highway. Exit at Tapah (no. 132) after a maybe 6 hour drive. The signboard to Cameron Highlands or Ringlet, the first town there, can be seen after you clear the toll gate. You can stay cheaper at Ringlet or go for the higher end places at Tanah Rata. best time is all year round, but try to avoid the rainy spells,
by car? use the Malaysian North South highway/PLUS highway, exit Tapah/cameron highlands, there are ample sign boards showing the directions.
There are a variety of hotels up there, depends what kinda enviroment you wanna be in.

can't remember how many times set foot in CH, it keep drawing you again n again. Best time are all year round but try avoid year end hence the rain, school and public holiday ! Plenty clear road sign that you never go missing no matter which road/highway you are traveling. Lots of hotel/apartment/chalet that should be able to suit your budget. You can find every thing in Tanah Rata but Brinchang is a bit crowded especially public/school holiday. Don't miss the Boh plantation, that tea factory touring experience is very knowledgeable, sipping the hot steaming tea with the great scenery right in front of you ! wow ! enjoy your holiday.

Try September -December during cool season, Hmmm as far as i know you can travel by land only( been there 5 years ago so im not sure now), well tis a long long journey to an unwinding road( well truth be told i puke). Since Cameron hinghland is one of the tourist destination in malaysia well tis not hard for you to find accomodation .

Now to Sept is the best time! Durian season at Cameron highland! Of course, if you like durian.

In the month of Disember,by bus in Malaysia.You beter stay in a house.The place is cool and fresh because I've stayed there before.Good luck
