and then SHOT AND KILLED HER 5 YEAR OLD SISTER AND HER PARENTS. This was PRE-MEDITATED/planned in advance!! Five soldiers planned it and dressed for the occasion and one held her down while the other three raped her and the fifth one was the lookout.

For your info-I am not Muslim nor do I live in the Middle East. I'm Christian , Canadian and most of my family - my oldest Brother and Sister and my Father were BORN in the USA and most of my family lives there or in Canada and all my family is Christian -so kindly do not refer to me as Muslim etc. This is just an objective opinion.
To the lady who asked who will avenge the deaths of the other Soldiers -I have no answer to that but your answer was excellent except at the end where you seem to think that as long as the perpetrators get life in prison or the death penalty then all is fine and dandy. You need to pick up your Bible- a little 5 year old girl was brutally murdered along with her 14 year old sister. We need to be outraged enough to ensure this doesn't happen again-enough with the tit for tat attitude already!

Appalled,Horrified,Angry,Sad,Shocked and well what the hell else can i say i am totally numbed to the core to hear of an atrocity like this. I would seriously castrate all responsible for this and i would make it a public event because this cannot be allowed to ever happen again.

It is a shameful fact that there are bad apples in every bunch. It angers me. I am saddened for the family and friends of the victims, and outraged at the MEN that did it. They may have been soldiers but ultimately they were MEN. It shames me to no end as there are so many good men and women trying to do what is right and to see that a handful of people with no ethics or morals were able to carry something like this out while supposed to be serving and protecting, its just wrong. What is even more wrong is that other soldiers were kidnapped and executed in revenge for what these soldiers did. Two wrongs don't make a right especially when justice will be carried out with this case. Military justice has a 90(+) % conviction rate and a case this high profile will end in the death penalty. This girl and her family will be avenged through justice. Who will avenge the victims who were executed unjustly?

Only a few soldiers did such a terrible crime and THEY WERE ARRESTED AND ARE NOW BEING TRIED IN COURT.

(The rest of the American soldiers are dying so that Iraqis can live in freedom but Sunnis and Shias are killing thousands of Iraqis per month!! Did you complain when USA saved Bosnian Muslims from the Serbs in the 1990s?)

Says a lot about USA punishing the wicked.

You will never see Muslims condemning their people for killing innocents.

What about all the honor killings performed by Muslim men? Why don't you condemn those.

Americans are sickened by what our 4 soldiers did and we look forward to punishing them.

I think it's sickening. They're only hurting their cause. That only makes people madder and increases hatred toward the US...which in return is going to keep them over there longer.

its horrible, vile and utterly evil. However, so is war. We can all easily from the safety of our homes at our computers judge these men. Yet, we don't know the horrors of war and what it can do to a person. Would these men have done such acts if they were safe back here in the states?

If they weren't in danger of dying every moment. When they see a child running past them. They aren't praying he isn't a human bomb waiting to explode. If the very people they are trying to liberate weren't mixed in with the ones bent on their very destruction.

Believe me that things like this happened in every war. but back in WWI, WWII, Korea,Vietnam, etc. we didn't have the media machine that we have now. Reporters weren't able to web cast a report via satellite back to the states. Back in those wars there were censors who would say what was printable. Editors that didn't want to give "Our boys" overseas a bad rep.

I'm not saying that what they did wasn't wrong or should be forgiven. However our government is placing these men in this hell hole and expecting them to act like saints. You can't turn it on and off like that. You don't blow up a building of people, pull out the bodies, stack them in piles and still care about them. You have to detach yourself from them or you go insane. And with that detachment you stop thinking of them as people but as things. and that's when the atrocities start to happen. When you see people as less than human you start doing things. When these "animals" kill your friend in a bomb raid. You get mean and nasty in your treatment of them. You start with the mistreatment of prisoners, racist remarks of the enemy, battlefield executions of prisoners and eventually the mistreatment of the civilian populace. and in a war like this its very hard to tell the difference. the enemy isn't wearing a uniform. So how do you tell the civilians from the enemy? I can say to myself that these men are evil for what they did. but I have to ask myself in putting them in that war did we make them so?

It's just sickening. There has been all kinds of terrible things that have happened in all the wars, we just usually don't hear about them.
