My favorite film was made around 1938 and takes place in Wales. It is the story of a coal mining family that respected everyone in it. Everyone worked to help each other. The mother and father were strong people emotionally. The name of the film was How Green Was My Valley. I've seen it many times but I've never become tired of it.

Can a person have just one? Picking just one favorite film would be like choosing just one favorite book! "Film" makes me think of something thought provoking and profound, not just a popcorn movie...A few that come to mind would be...: In The Mood For Love, My Life, Raise The Red Lantern, Red Sorghum, The Red Balloon, The Deep End of The Ocean, Chungking Express, and Closer. That's all that come to mind of the top of my head.
