That would suck, but I'd be more than thrilled to go home and go back to bed. Lucky

It's happened to me, and I did feel pretty silly. But then at the end of the day I felt really pleased. See, since I was showered, dressed, out of the house, I took the opportunity to go spend the day doing some fun things, shopping, called a friend to meet me for lunch, went to a gallery, etc. If I had known it was my day off, I probably would have slept late, then wasted my entire day infront of my computer sat in my pj's (much as I'm doing right now!)
And with that, I'm off to go have a shower and not waste the rest of my day! Thanks for the wake up call!

I did it once too. With all the mandatory OT and voluntary OT, I was lost. Played it safe, showed up, found that I wasn't scheduled, but stayed anyway. I drove 14 miles to get there, so I felt I needed to get something out of it.

No you are not a moron. We all have done it. I had that happen and couldn't clock in. The next time it happened I started coping the schedule on a copier and I was right they had changed it and not told anyone.

I'd feel great...I would love to get sent home. It never happens at my job, not even when the power goes out.

I've done that before. I got up, dressed and drove to work. I didn't realize until I got to the door that it was Sunday morning and they were closed.

Everyone makes mistakes. I'd just be happy for the time off. Don't be so hard on yourself.
