This may not be your cup of tea, but the best night out that me and my husband ever had was when we go night fishing, wich we do alot! It's so calm and peacful, there are not alot of people around, you can sit on the banks, or on a blanket or on the docks and fish for catfish or whatever might be bitting.

Fishing is cheap but a good way to get some conversations started and for alot of alone time and it's quiet. Plus, it's exciting to think that you have a lunker on the end of the line too and all you have to see by is a lantern. It's awesome, starring up at the night sky and smelling the lake. Totally breathtaking. Stay out all night and watch the sun come up together. It's a perfect date to me.

One of the best nights out I can remember is just going to the cinema, not knowing what was on, and choosing something then and there to watch. Then afterwards going for dinner - this also helps with conversation as you can discuss the film. You could then go for a night-time walk - I love walking in the woods at night and, if it's a warm summers night you could find a nice spot under the trees for....(you know what!).

Was talking to a friend at the w/e and she said that some of the best nights out she had with her partner (before they had a family) were the nights they jumped on a train to London (they live in Hampshire) then stood in front of the tube map with their eyes shut and just randomly pointed to somewhere on the map. Wherever they were pointing was where they went.

Well, it worked for them and they've been together for 14 years!

Is there any beach near your place? Why not try to bring her there and prepare something to eat so both of you will eat by the shore and just have a heart to heart talk.. then when its late already lay down on the sand and watch the stars together that's really sweet and romantic and for sure she will definitely appreciate that!

Anywhere. Find out what she likes and base the evening around that. If she's always dreamt of going somewhere decorate the room with nice lights and get food from that country and that kind of thing. As long as you pay her plenty of attention and show her how capable you are of loving her that's all that matters
