arn't sick but you really are? because baby seems to be sick and iv'e told his doctor about it and he just brushes it off and says nothing is wrong. Iv'e told baby's doc numerous times that I think he's sick, and he still does nothing.. could this be the workings of goverment paid insurance? what do you think? I think that if you have goverment insurance they treat you differently. is this true? or am I imagining it?

My pediatrician is wonderful, so it's maybe the doctor just being a douchebag.

THERE IS NO CONSPIRACY IN MEDICINE! In the majority of cases, if the doctor doesn't think anything is wrong, then nothing is wrong. Doctors and other healthcare providers have extensive training in assessing and diagnosing illness. In the US, doctors practice defensive medicine, meaning that they order tests which they are pretty certain will be negative on the slightest chance that something will be found. In other words, if your doctor is not concerned, then there is virtually no chance that there is anything wrong with your baby. Doctors are even far more careful with babies, and minor symptoms that would get brushed off in an adult patient get thorough workups in babies. So yes, you are imagingin it.

I think the doctor knows more about illnesses than you do.

He did 4 years of college followed by 7 years of medical school for a reason.

If you don't like government run health care why don't you see a private doctor?

I don't know why I have to pay for your doctor. Huge chunks of my paychecks go in taxes to pay for people who "think" their babies are sick.

You should be grateful that other people are paying for doctors to see your baby.
