Staying as a salaried worker, regardless of the eforts one puts in, the financial situation and prospects are very much limited. There is nothing like having your own business, where the results are dependent on the efforts placed in i.e. the more efforts, the better results. All businesses are risks, no guarantee that you will be successful. Trust your friend must have thought well over the subject before making the decision. Go with him, support him and wish him well.

Compared to offline businesses, the investment required to start an online business is minimal. A popular way of earning money on the internet is by providing information and services. This can be monetised by advertising or charging a subscription. You can also make money online by selling products on auction websites like eBay or through your own website.
