My iPod Shuffle doesnt show up in iTunes but shows up in My Computer. And it says 'iPod Service Error' when I use iPod Updater. I have used the support on the apple website but it doesnt help. I have also emailed them and they said that I need to go through the support pages.

PLEASE HELP!! I WANT TO TAKE IT ON HOLIDAY ON THE 16TH AUGUST.

you will have to remove all your music somehow..... and format it... use fat (not fat32) and dont use quick format... then put all your music back on... apple.com/forums can help too...

Most problems with iPods are cured by 're-booting'. I would stronlgy suggest doing this first then go to Apple web site and download the latest version of iTunes. Even if you have the latest version a re-install will not take away all the tunes in the library.

If it has a sad face the HDD is gone, but it sounds like the Logic board is cooked. Big suprise Apples are for pies not computers or MP3's

You have to format ( remove every part of information and files on it) and then try to change the setting of connectivity.

throw that piece of **** in the trash and get another one. but do you have insurance for the ipod cause if you do than you can get a new one
