No. The man knows he's almost out of office. He's just spending his last days f*cking the country. It's not like he's going to lose those Secret Service privileges after he's gone...

Unfortunately we have to take President Bush very seriously. When he leaves office it will be many years before we can recover our enviornment from the damage caused by him. Maybe we can make our oil companies accountable for billions of dollars of profit when we are paying $2.00 a gallon for gas. Maybe we can find Osama Bin Laden instead of going off somewhere totally unrelated to 9/11. I am a texan, and I love Texas, but I have NEVER voted for anyone named Bush for anything, and I always vote.

How can the person who commands the world's most powerful war machine not be taken seriously. There is no doubt that he should be taken seriously. Most of the world, at at least half of the US population may not like him, and may not think that he is qualified for his position, but he still must be taken seriously.

I was trying to think of one...but, pretty much, I couldn't.

The only smart thing he's done is pick some darn good advisors.

Still, he probably had his dad pick one advisor and that one pick the others. Which is funny.. not serious.

He could probably nuke us all with the push of a button, so that's the only reason I can come up with.

Otherwise... no.

Americans elected George Bush as their President!! If any other fellow calls him anything, he is still the President! But one important point one has to note - he is that person who sees others to be kept happy - where ever they are..

Are you happy?????????????

I can't think of a one!!! As far as his job being to make sure people are happy...what a joke! The only person Bush considers is his li'l ol' self.

Only the fact that his decisions have very real consequences.
Sometimes, life and death consequences.
Ask the brave men and women in our armed forces if there is a reason to take him seriously.
Be afraid, be very afraid.

Why would take someone like him seriously? He's an idiot who has no idea what he's doing!

Actually, I change my answer.....since he won't listen to anyone around him, I guess we should take him seriously because he's going to do whatever he wants.

No matter how stupid and/or corrupt he may be, we should still take him very seriously. He is still Commander-in-Chief, and has his finger not too far from those nuclear buttons. Now there's a frightening thought!
