Right now I'm kind of worried about a close online friend of mine, I hope she's doing alright, she was only on for a brief while Thursday night and she seemed to dissapear off from the forums ever since then, she is usually on Sunday's, if she's on vacation she could've at least told me so I wouldn't worry so much about her, she's the kind of friend I've been wanting to have since high school and I don't want to lose her as my friend, I sure miss her and it's not gonna be easy finding somebody to replace her, as of tonight there was no sign of her :(

ohhh... that's so hard....
i had a good online friend disapear one time... he came back on like 5 months later!!! i was relieved that he was still alive... he said his IM broke and stuff... and that he's been super busy and not able to get on.
try not to panic, it hurts a lot, especally if you're close. i have a really close online friend so i totally know what it's like.
and don't listen to anyone who tells you to "get a real life" or "make real friends"... they've just never expierienced the joy of having a real online friend.
try not to worry, i know it's hard and you probably will worry... but computers do silly things sometimes so probably it's just that... *hugs*

Sounds like you are more worried about your feelings than her. Be patient - and when she's online again - think hard before you lay any guilt on her for the way you are feeling right now.
At some point, once you come to understand why you are feeling the way you are -- and are okay about it -- then maybe -- you'll be in a better place to tell her how important communicating with her is to you.

You take good care of your own self now. The internet is not everything. Your friend will be back online when she wants to. Don't worry about that too much.
