i'm a vet and i'm screening fecal samples of captive snakes to determine parasite loads and to determine which parasites are more prevalent etc. the problem is that i'm not familiar with several of the snake parasitic ova and so identification of eggs poses a major problem. i've found several kinds of ova of all major classes of helminths , as well as pentastomids n acanthocephalans. so i'd be really grateful if anyone could help me out.

Must read Chang's book on parasites, top authority on the field.
Book has a lot of dichotomous clues to eggs larvae and adults of parasites from unicellular up to animals just as nematodes, cestods, trematodes, etc.
