Some of the friends decided to go on a picnic. they decided to go on a
bike if the biker decided to take one pillion with him .then there is no
means of travel for the people as equal to the no of bike + 1. if they
decided to go on two trip three bike r left unused in the second trip find
the no of person having bike?

it looks very very much like a homework question and i probably shouldn't be answering it for you. but then, you spent 5 pts on this and you deserve to get an answer

oookkk then

no. of ppl = no. of bikes + 1
let the no.of ppl be p
let the no of biles be b
p = b + 1
two trips equals the person going on a trip is half the original number of ppl = 0.5p

therefore 0.5p = b - 3 (3 is unused)

thus
0.5p = b - 3
p = 2b - 6
but p also = b + 1
2b - 6 = b + 1
b = 7

therefore there are 7 bikes.
therefore there are 7 ppl having bikes.

wht kind of unit is pillion im hearing this unit for the first time anyways whtever the unit is dide it by 2 thats ur answer
