No it doesn't. A rainbow is a metro logical phenomena and does have nothing to do with the Gay society. Rainbow pride as a word does but not a rainbow in itself.

A rainbow is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that causes a nearly continuous spectrum of light to appear in the sky when the Sun shines onto droplets of moisture in the Earth's atmosphere. It takes the form of a multicolored arc, with red on the outside and violet on the inside. Even though a rainbow spans a continuous spectrum of colours, traditionally the full sequence of colors is most commonly cited as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet.

(In the voice of Chris Kattan as Mango:) Can you kiss a rainbow?
While some members of the gay community have adopted the rainbow as an emblem of solidarity, so has Jesse Jackson's RainbowCoalition so it's simply not the catch-all that people think it is. Check into the actual business, organization or individual to find out which group they belong to as there are many who use that as their symbol.

Dumb question.
A rainbow is a meteorological phenomenon; a rainbow MEANS it has probably rained recently.
A rainbow on a sticker in a car window might mean you like rainbows or your child is in the "Rainbow Club" or that you are or care about someone who is gay/lesbian/bi-/transgender, or that you are in political sympathy with "their" issues.
That represets a LOT of PEOPLE with a variety of beliefs and interests.
It is counter-productive to LUMP people together based on a rainbow. I suggest you open yourself to the possibilities and positions others represent. It might help to think of US and THEM instead US against THEM.
Or better yet, just US--we're all on the planet together and need to get along.
You don't have to BELIEVE everything you hear, but you might HEAR it.
Be happy. Pass it on.

It is the gay symbol but it doesn't always mean that person is gay. They just might like rainbows...but i'd think they're gay

No. The rainbow is a universal symbol of diversity, and of God's promise to mankind. As a symbol of diversity, many LBGT people have adopted it as a symbol, so it may be a clue. But other people like rainbows too.

well the rainbow flag has become the easily-recognized colors of pride for the gay community. the rainbow flag has been part of the gay community sense 1978. this symbol was borrowed from the hippie movement. each color stands for something. hot pink for sex, red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sun, green for nature, turquoise for art, indigo for harmony, and violet for spirit. if you like rainbows it doesn't mean your gay but the rainbow is known as a symbol of gay pride.

I hope not, because I love my rainbows, but I'm not into women, I am into men, more specifically, my man.
