The ancient: the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Statue of Zeus at Olympia, the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, the Colossus of Rhodes, and the the Lighthouse of Alexandria. This final list was assembled in the Middle Ages to represent the greatest and most impressive monuments built in ancient times.
There is no modern list or consensus. Some would definitely include the Great Wall of China, the Panama Canal, the Empire State Building, the Roman Colosseum, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Angkor Wat, the Taj Mahal, le Mont Saint-Michel, the Parthenon, the Clock Tower (Big Ben), the Eiffel Tower, the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, and the Hagia Sophia. Since the ancient times (which was a very small western world indeed) there are so many periods of history to be considered that no body or international group has come up with a modern list like the ancient Greek historians did with the original "ancient seven wonders."
