well the prophecy goes that in the year 2000 the world would end .. duh .. well nothing happen .. and people belived the entire thing a hoax and went on with they're lives.. well a year later terroist attack the twin towers.. and about a year later iraq war.. then... katrina in 2005.. and well now they'res a depispute about nuclear weapons in north korea . testing weapons to attack the united states.. now the middle east in war.. not includeing rising gas prices .. along with global warming and droughts in all parts of the world.. could theyre be any more of a sign .. does god have to beat us down and make us cripple until we see whats about to happen.. i predict next year north korea will grow stronger with the nukes and hold the world in a stand stll such as russia did.. and but instead wont care about the after affects...and and as CNN predicted 2009 another huge hurricane will happen and the terroist will attack oil mines.. have an open mind .. are we so stubborn not to realize

I saw this site. It talks about nuclear war and says that it will come Sept. 12, 2006.
Whether you believe it or not the site is interesting.
You may believe or just have a laugh.
Take a look!

Leave the prophecies - it can turn out to be hoax. But the fact remains that we have just sited a miserable end to humanity. What you mentioned are really scary but humans have started loosing their humanities but only have diminish feelings. When we say, we are advanced, its just the opposite. We are turning out to be just like savages, In the Hindu epics, it is said that god will take ten incarnations and the tenth will be in the Kali kaal. Whatever has been told there as signs of Kalikal are seen now.It is believed that when the truth & dharma is recedes and the evils go beyond limit, god will take an incarnation and shall destroy all who sinned. That's the only hope we have. Its just because of a factor called FEAR that prevents any country resorting to nuclear weapons. US feared Russis and vice versa, North fearing South Korea, India fearing Pakistan & China...that's what prevents it so far.Man has manipulated everything against the nature and the natural rule is that nature will retaliate!!!

The fact is that natural disasters and wars have happened almost continually for the entirety of human history. The only change is that the wars are fought with more destructive weapons. There is no reason to expect the end except for ( I hesitate but I can think of no other word) wishful thinking.

seriously STFU.
All those facts add up to nothing.
Go ask how the people in the Congo are doing. They've seen nothing but disaster for decades. The people of Vietnam were in a constant war for over 100 years. Your petty concept of the crumbling of the world doesn't even compare to all the genocides of the past century.
Take your BS non-argument, whack job, epileptically-elliptic synchronicity story over to the Religion and Spirituality channel where they'll embrace you for your illogical drivel.

You can't predict the end of the world. All through history people automatically think the end of the world has come as soon as bad things happen. The question you should be asking is: What needs to be done to improve this world?

If year was about 1st before AC , then i coud say :
" O no ! Waterfall at the end of the world will drop me out ."
Well after AC :
"O no ! End of the world - Jugment day ... and so on .. i read it on bible or some toalet paper ... "
Presend days :
-"I just sow UFO - they shall destroy us ..."
-"Huricine will end us ... "
-"Jugment day is not year 2000 ... it's every year after ..."
Well - human have some WISH to BELIEVE that there SHALL BE some kind of mass destruction ...
But i doubt so ... There is noting scaryest than human on this world ... And there is not scariest places than humans dark imaginations ... ( it's my tought - i shall copyright it :P )

Thy Kingdom Come.
Yes I too await this change with baited breath. I choose not to listen to the, 'Winds of Change' as the Scorpians told us many years ago. To be, to know, to stay awake therefore, is all we have to help us.
May peace be in your mind today, to simply be in each and every moment.
Live and Let Die.

Let's say you're right and that the end is coming. Why attribute God to it? Most things you sight are our own stupidity. Even natural causes can't be attributed to God. God is way above nature. Also, I tend to doubt that God wants us to live in fear as you suggest. If you think it's useful to you, fine, go ahead. As for me, I will continue working on overcoming my negativity, including fears. This is what brings me closer to God. So please accept my approach as I accept yours. Is this not what Jesus taught? ...to love thy neighbor?
