C'mon people. The die-hard Potter fans should all agree with me on this: THE MOVIE WAS CRAP! THE DIRECTOR SHOULD BE BANNED FROM DIRECTING!!! He butchered that story!!

A remake? Impossible...it is my least favorite of the films so far...I did like the tone and look of it, but I thought, considering that the book is essentially critical background material for the entire series, the movie left out some information I thought was more important (it could have been a bit longer and no one would have minded)...for example, the backstory of Harry's patronus to me is a plot point that should at least have been mentioned...what I think might work, actually, though it will NEVER, EVER happen, is if they made a series of animated films (some Japanese series can be spread over 8 hours for a single story) from the books...but if you don't have, say, Alan Rickman and Robbie Coltrane (my favorite performers in the series) doing the voices, not sure it would work...a thought though...

I am a die hard Potter fan....but honestly, I enjoy the movies, mostly because it is a different genre. You can't portray all of the stuff from the books in the movies. I love the books, but I'm not sure that some of that stuff would have the same effect on screen. It would just be too slow moving and too much to keep up with in that medium.

No. I am still watching it and I see something different every time. How dare you criticize a director. These are very difficult stories to replicate and I think ALL the directors have done a fine job. Of course there are things I wish they had put in the movies...but then they would have been about 6 hours long! I can hardly wait for the next one to come out.

They originally wanted to split it down the middle and make 2 films out of all the material in the book. Keep that up and the whole series will be about 16 movies long and the main characters will be in their forties!

Accept it for what it is; a film that can stand alone without the book, set in a COMPLETELY different Hogwarts to the first two! Ah well.....

I think the movie was ok. I think GoF was better, but PoA was pretty good. I don't like the fact that it's set in a completely different Hogwarts. I think they will make a remake in a few years, after all the other movies are over with.

THE BOOKS ARE SOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN THE MOVIES!

It wasn't the best of the four, but I don't think it was the worst. Goblet of Fire is still my favorite book, but the movie was nothing in comparison. I would have to rank at that one as the worst. They need a do-over on that. Go back and re-read the book. they left out A LOT
