It is about 2 Japanese tourists and their South African host who were chased down the highway by gunmen firing guns at them after their arrival at Johannesburg on Saturday. Tourists be warned - change your destination.

To Miss Behave- Other Countries do not have a violent crime rate anywhere near to South Africa e.g. Murder rate in Uk 2 per 100,000, Usa 6 per 100,000 and SA 48 per 100,000. You got a problem with the truth about your violence - all the murders and raped children? Get out of denial and stop imagining it is no worse elsewhere.

To All you South Africans in denial- Your Country is infested with murderous thugs who have no respect for human life and your denial supports them. Tourists must avoid the place until you and your Government accept Western values and put a stop to it.

Back to Miss Behave- You have already turned your back on SA because you dont live there preferring to sit in safe old England attempting to fool potential tourists that SA is a haven for them. Tell them to take a bodybag for the return flight as there is a shortage in SA.

Oh get a grip!! And enough already! If you hate your own country so much, get out and stop doing this. Get a life. Have you ever been to places like Las Vegas, London, Moscow - violent crime is not unique to SA. And do you think it was any different in the 1980s with tanks in the streets? Or I guess you must be white so you were protected from it all. Instead of sitting at your keyboard and badmouthing the country, get off your bum and start doing something useful.

TO MISS BEHAVE!! : Thank you for your point on this, you spoke with your heart and it is all true what you said!! And then to just add more info: Baldy does not live in South Africa and he hasn't had any traumatic experience in South Africa. He just hates us because we feel it is safe for tourists to visit South Africa WHICH IT IS!

Now back to you Baldy....by the proof you have submitted with your question i believe it really happened. Although we don't know the full story of WHY it happened. Its not as if those people are just going to pick somebody and start following them and then shooting them...there must of been a reason for that! Whatever the reason though this should be under investigation and justice must be served to those who have been proved guilty.

My case closed on this....Kim :)

Baldy old git........move on. Is it your mission to turn the world against South Africa. Yes it has its problems but so do most other countries but i dont see you bad mouthing them. Have you had a traumatic event happen to you for you to be so negative. South Africa is a lovely place. What about the states with its drive by shootings, What about London with its sudden spate of stabbings. I dont see you commenting on these countries.

I refuse to turn my back on South Africa. If you live in South Africa get out if you dont like it. If you dont ignore it. I am not in denial i am fully aware of the violence but it is concentrated in certain areas. You cannot tar everybody with the same brush.

As for your stats look at this....

"A United Nations report has labelled Scotland the most violent country in the developed world, with people three times more likely to be assaulted than in America.
England and Wales recorded the second highest number of violent assaults while Northern Ireland recorded the fewest."

But i guess as much as you wont change my views i wont change yours so we'll have to agree to disagree.

You have no idea why i am here and it is thick of you to presume that i have turned my back on my country. For one it is none of your business and another the reason i am here has nothing to do with the crime at all. Live in a country before you slander it. You are a bitter and twisted old baldy git arnt you.!!!

2 tourists getting shot at is nothing compared to some of the news stories I could tell you about here in the UK.

Baldy, I think you have issues.
