I've had a slew of weird named pets. There have been:

Fizzgig:named after the furball in Dark Crystal becasue she'd stamp her paws and scream if she didnt get her way.

Tigerius Claudius Kitticus Caesar: So named as my spouse at the time was a history teacher and Roman history buff. Plus the kitten exhibited some of the same personality as Claudius from the PBS special I, Claudius.

Tigerius Augustus Kitticus Caesar: So named as above, only this one had the boistrous personality of Augustus.

Peekiboo: Named because she hid constantly.

Belle: This cat was the ugliest damn cat I ever saw (yep I aimed for sarcasm this time).

Gremlin: This one was a faded calico and as ugly as her momma (Belle).

Pookibear: Because he reminded me of a black version of Garfield's teddybear.

and now I have a Dharma...she was all legs and always causing trouble...kinda like the character she was named for....we just need to get a Greg to pair up with her now...
