and this morning we learn our domestic rates will again increase to accomodate the immigrants. just what the hell is going on in this country how far does this blair crowd intend to push the british people, never have i seen such an intimitating government, they are literally pushing the people on limited means to suicide, yes suicide, pathetic isn't it come on people wake up out of the deep slumber and see whats happening to this once great country.lets put a stop to it before we reach the point of no return

If, as a person on a low income, you think THIS is an intimidating government, you'll be sorry when/if the Tories get back in, since they're only interested in looking after their rich friends. Your taxes might come down, but everything else you need will rise, including the cost of your welfare.
Immigrants work usually at the lowest paying jobs in society, the jobs the local people would rather turn down in preference to income support. Immigrants arrive with a work ethic and the desire to build themeselves a future. They will build upon their resources to improve their status. That in turn has a positive effect on the economy.
The "once great country" to which you refer - is that the one that through colonisation appropriated the riches of other nations, and exploited those indigenous people's labour to build the wealth that you enjoy today?

Your thinking applied to everybody in the world. The great pace of
population, unemployment, rising costs of living etc. have pushed mankind to the brink of nowhere land. Everybody wants to get out of the curruption, mad race for survival,meagre earnings. Its happening all over the world. You think only Britains are suffering? The Mexicans are pouring in America, the Bangla
deshis are pouring into India, the Indians,Pakistanis,Chinese into MiddleEast, the Tamils in SriLanka. Every government is faced with similar problems all over the globe. If you think in Britain the crises are bad, then dwell on the misery of Africa. Comparitively,
the rest of the world is far happier than Africa.
Do not blame the Government.They are trying their best. Suppose you got a chance to be Prime Minister/President. Think you could manage better? I'm sure not.
