YES , I go beyond sad when I hear stuff like this ....like they say war is hell.... So many are hurting everywhere .. I understand your point though ..
How can our guys that are fighting for whatever it is they are fighting for do this ? There were more than one guy there ... a little girl 14 .. With all the death and violence going on they lost their minds ....
This is all about a war that NO ONE WILL EVER WIN.....

The news is so depressing and I hear people saying ."lets go to the club tonite" or Gotta get that new Lexus ! The USA is gonna get a wake up call soon. I hope we all are ready .. Our nation is about to be raped by the middle eastern terriosts and we are not ready .. ..

All life is sacred , women are ALL beautiful ...and should be treated like queens.... This is all geo-political crap gone bad and our guys and women in the service are pushing themselves to the point where they dont even recognize who they are ... The girl is a symptom of what is wrong in this world .. There is no cure for evil and its pundits ...

Yes, it makes me very sad.

Can you tell us who did this? Was it Iraqi Insurgents?

Have you heard about the rape news in Iran?

Case in point - a recent BBC documentary "Execution Of A Teenage Girl" about a 16 year old girl in Iran who was hanged for Crimes Against Chastity, after a forced confession, although she had been raped. This is apart from the fact that this VIOLATES the United Nations Convention on Human Rights for Children - that it is illegal to Execute Children, which Iran is a signatory to.

Judge Haji Reza'i, who was also the local mullah, prosecutor and head of the city administration, personally obtained permission from Iran's Supreme Court to execute her. He put the noose around her neck himself before she was hoisted on a crane jib arm to her death.

Just as shocking - but not surprising - was the fact that the local Morality Police who charged her also ran the local drinking hole and brothel.

This is just one example of oppression and state execution of women and children along with that of the gay and lesbian community. Amnesty International has a dossier of cases.

Its not only sad but is also very unfortunate.

Where are the advocates of evaluation theory? Its 2006 AD that means after millions of years, Man is still as barbaric as he was known to be in the stone age.

Although these cases are disposed of being "individual acts of unbecoming" but are a slap on human values and ethos.

It hurts beyond sad. It gives me a pain in my heart. We have been around for thousands of years. We think that we are the top of the evolutionary tree and yet we can still allow ourselves to behave like that?! It demeans us all as human beings- and that perhaps is the cruelest part of the whole affair.
We shouldn't just be blaming the people that did it, we should be inditing society as a whole for allowing ourselves to get to this low point.
