I took up a completely new position in a location far removed from where we had lived before; my wife and I were once again a couple alone with an enclosed courtyard in the sun and weekend trips to out-of-the-way places we had never been before; I wrote poetry late at night whenever I wanted to and letters to the editor when I was outraged at what politicians were doing; I let myself sing "The Impossible Dream" and "The Lord's Prayer" publicly and I dressed as a country bumpkin clown for parties at work, where I was the boss; I took long, long walks on the beach and in the woods; I quit going to church and found a church it was worth a 75-mile drive to get to; I swore more and wept more and laughed louder and stayed in the hot tub longer than they say you're supposed to; I became a grandfather (well, I didn't have much choice in the matter there, but it was a crowning achievement!) and came to a better understanding of my own father, who had been dead twenty years and was resurrected in my heart and mind.
At 58, you've got twelve more years before you become officially, technically elderly. Live 'em up! Be yourself, whoever you are. That's what I did, and I'm glad.

Well, I'd say...have no regrets at that age. To have been able to successfully fulfill the duties entrusted over a lifetime without any yearning/ longing left for anything is the ultimate "do" that will spice up life for good.

Fear of growing old and relatedhealth concerns. As one grows old abyility seems to fall off. Some, seek medications for ertile dysfunction. Others, buy fancy cars, boats, house, etc.
In my opinion, they lack love. Don't get me wrong, I love my Ferraie, my 2 million dollar twin engine Scarab, my cabin in Thaoe, and Aspen. I think about these things while I fly around the world on my G6 or floating in the air in my Pitt's special.
The most important thing, to me, is graqbing the love of my life and taking her with me.

Stay healthy. I see so many people let their bodies waste. Stay current on nutrition, go to the gym often. The best sport you can push yourself in is swimming. Also develop an interest in some moving art like pilates, yoga, or tai-chi.
That's so crucial...

LIVE LONG.......
Give hard time to your kids giving them the succesfull business.
Keep enough for urself and your missus and go around the world while you can still enjoy life.
Unfortunatelly life is too short and sometimes people discover that it is too late to "dare".
