When I have Norton Internet Security on, I can't get an internet connection its really odd. I have to disable it before any site lets me near it. Does anyone happen to know why this might be and how I can fix it? Thanks xx

There are potentially 3 things going on.

1 - as someone has already indicated, Windows Firewall might be on. If it is, it will conflict with Norton. You can disable Windows Firewall via Control Panel/Security Center.

2. Your Internet Explorer browser settings might be set to the highest security setting. When IE is open, go to Tools/Internet Options/Security and check your settings.

3. Your Norton Internet security settings might be set too high. Medium security with a few tweaks should be all that is needed in most cases

just try to turn off the firewall permanently in the norton antivirus..
go to startr-all programs-internet security-drop down box- choose the norton internet security once again-u get will check for the option norton personal firewall which u will have to disactivate permanently..
what happens is that norton firewall blocks u, or better prevents you from gainig access to secured websites,,.. try it.. twill work

Norton sucks. Use Panda or AVG.
