you can try talking with them....perhaps online instead of in person....even for a shy person talking online isn't that bad...it's almost as if you're not aware you're talking to that person....anyway if they are nice people and know that you're shy then they should give you a shot....just talk with them and be nice...and also listen to what they have to say....it shouldn't be too hard to become friends after that.....do you share similar interests???

That is a really tough question but instead of letting them think that you are shy let them know you are serious because trust me everybody needs a serious friend. They are the ones you can really count on.

Well to make good friends you need to listen what others
are saying just say hello to every body and talk with them
frequently this would make them think yes some one is
there to listen them invite people to party and help them
when they need. Also ask them help when u need.

People in general love to talk about themselves...open up by asking them questions about themselves, i.e.: I love that top, where did you get it? Do you have kids? What do you think??? etc....ASK QUESTIONS!
