What do you think of the possibility of the Stargate tv shows just being the us governments way of easing us into the truth that the stargates do truly exist?? Plausible Denyability anyone?

I would give almost anything for that to be true. I would stay in that job for the rest of my life it it were true. I think most of the open minded folks on here who don't rant religous banter continuously could handle it. I'm pretty sure that the people who believe that the earth is only 6000 years old will not be able to cope with this truth.
I'm pretty sure that a secret of that magnitude in Hollywood would spill out like Lindsey Lohans boobs at an after party. One can keep hoping though.
