When i requested service for my internet, phone, and cable. i told them that i would do the installation my self. i didnt want to pay for the installation fees. A couples day later a cox cable man showed up at my door, saying that he was called to come to my house to install some phone and cable wires. I told him that i didnt want it done. I was going to do it myself. We chatted for a while and he said to me, "Will i can help you hook the wires up, you wont be charge for it, you can just tip me." Those were his exact words. He offered and in a waY i couldnt really back down and i felt bad to say No so i said that it was okay. Since i was too busy anyways...Anyways he came over my house 2 times...I tipped him $40 bucks...and i thought that that was it. This month my bills came and all the charges was in the statement. He charged me for everything. I feel lilke i was lied to complelety. But is it my fault for letting him? Or is it his fault for lying and being untruthful??

You need to tell your story to the Better Business Bureau. http://www.bbb.org

I just had cable internet hooked up and it only cost like $40.00.
You need to call the company and tell them that the man insisted that you pay him, and you did. Let them know that you already paid for you installation and that they need to fix their problem. Ask to speak with a supervisor play the victim, you were. Good luck!!
