Babies can start teething from as early as 4 months or as late as 10 months. My sons starts teething around 9 - 10 months. One thing to take note is that when they are teething, they seem to drool a lot even when they normally don't and they like to bite, even their own fingers. If he is reaching 4 months, mayb can try giving cereal by spoon, this way his gum won't hurt so much.

It is very possible for some to teeth very early. Believe it or not, some babies are born with teeth, it's rare though. Although most babies do not begin teething between 4-6 months of age. The first teeth are usually to emerge at 6 months being the average. Anything is possible with kids!

It seems like babies start drooling months before that first tooth pops. Three months is a little young but I got my first tooth at four months so it is definitely possible. Cold spoon on the gums, teething rings, orajel for babies is ok in moderation, a little Infant Motrin before bedtime or feeds to help with the pain. Also check to see if he has an ear infection or other illness, that can also be the cause of the symptoms you mentioned. Check with your pediatrician!

i dont think 3 months is too young for teething because babies are humans and no one is just alike, so i would go buy one to those teething rings from the store the ones you put in the freezer to freeze, he should really like it. Or go buy a teething vibrater, my lil cousin had one and loved it. when he bits on it it vibrates his gums and i guess it feels good. you can buy them a walmart.

you can use baby numzit if your sure its the gums.double check and see if baby has white spots on the tong or insides of check, which is signs of thrush.teething doesn't usually make baby's not want to dink, but thrush will.also you should talk with your baby's doctor soon as you can, baby needs to be eating.good luck.
