He is a middle infielder for the Oakland Athletics. He is mostly used as a backup to both Mark Ellis (2nd Base) and Bobby Crosby (SS).

I am a huge Giants fan but to be nice your answer is that he plays for the Oakland Athletics...he is a Utility man and plays MOSTLY second base and center field....A's SUCK Giants are way BETTER
