What I wanna know is, why would you send out a message in a bottle when you obviously have access to the internet and can get help by other means? A bottle shaped like a chicken.

most email service providers have both free as well as paid services. the paid service costs a yearly rental charge. sending emails, instant messages are free in both cases.
