They have a chance. The NL West is wide open and they are still in the running for the wild card.

Offense woke up big time last night vs. the D-Backs with 6 homers, but they're not a good hitting team. Surprisingly low ERA given that they really only have one star pitcher in Schmidt.
Anyone has a chance to win that division, but they're not going to do it hitting 17 points worse on average than the Dodgers.

Heck yes baby, with what the giants did to the rockies tonight, I am sure they will make it. With bonds getting his swing back, and the whole team hitting home runs, and Omar Vizquel doing an outstanding job at 2nd base, they will make it for sure. Go giants and bonds!!!!!!

no. if a few guys gets injured it would probably be the end. the Giants have one of the oldest teams in baseball (players' ages) and a lot of holes to fill if it does happen.

That division is tight, so they could pull it out, but the way the Dodgers have been playing, and the moves that AZ has made, I would say that they probably won't make it.

It is possible.
You have to remember that there are still 2 months left to play, and anything can happen.
Plus anyone could win that division.
