'P2P technology is legal but downloading copyrighted material isnt'.

This is download law .... lol ... but no one follows it so why do u?

yes, it is legal.

what is illegal is to share files that you DO NOT OWN THE COPYRIGHT TO.

for example: Limewire is like a hammer. A hammer is legal if you are building a house, but not to hit someone in the head.

As long as you use limewire to exchange files with no copyright, or files that YOU own the copyright to, there is no problem.

i have this
and i haf tot pay for every thing i download
that makes it legal for me and i try not to down load the other things just what i pay for,
but i hear that i can down load othe things that ppl has already done it's free to do that because i paid for it and i'm a mimber of this thing.

yes limewire as a software application is legal software. however, what you use it for, (you dirty boy) maybe not so much.
