I think they just hang out like its a shower... that's what cows usually do and elephants and cattle have some very similar mannerisms. Some may be exceptional or dislike the rain, at which time, since they are much more intelligent than cattle, they would seek to hide under trees or even make umbrellas out of large leaves, but that may just be me being fanciful and thinking of Babar.

Elephants love the rain and won't do much of anything except stand in the rain and enjoy it all they can.
Silly question but kind of interesting anyway.
Elephants enjoy water and rain is one of the best enjoyed forms of water they have.

they probly put there noses up in the air 2 get enuff water 2 last them for a long. and after that like that macs guy said get wet play in the mud:P

find shelter as the umbrella isn't big enough.
but seriuosly their skin is thick enough to sustain the rain which provides them with the huge amount of water they need to drink,.
