First ask yourself why you got fired. You may be lacking in something that makes you a liability rather than an asset. If that's the case try to improve yourself. Learn new skills and work extra hard in case you get hired again. Good luck!

It's hard man. For the emotional part, just talk to people and do things that will make you feel better about yourself. As for the finances, I'm not sure how to get back on your feet but once you do get back on your feet change your life so that you'll never be in this situation again. Being broke sucks, but a few changes in life will do wonders for you if and when you need $$$ for a rainy day like today. I got laid off 14 months ago for a second time after working in the same biz for 16 years. Now I'm more financially stable then I was back then and I'm enjoying things much more in a new career. Explore new options which are compatible with your strengths.
Oh yeah . . . one last thing . . . if you got fired because you f'd up, and you know you did, then take responsibility for that and change things the next time around.

If you have been there at least 26 weeks(I think it is) and made over $100 each week(that may have changed) you could go sign up for unemployment. I have been fired from jobs when I was young for many reasons. Some were my fault, some weren't. The point is you need to quit beating yourself up about it, get up in the morning, take a shower and go thru the paper. Get yourself a resume made up and hit the street running. Some one out there has to have a job that will suit you. Even if it is a job that will get you by until you find a better one. Ya got to be able to live right? Chalk it up as experience and move on. That is all you can really do. Whatever you do, don't just sit around and mope about it because that won't solve your financial troubles. Get busy. I believe in ya!!!

I know exactly what you are going through. First thing you need to do is apply for Unemployment Benefits. You can probably apply online, depending on where you live. The world is not over. I felt like it was when it happened to me. But it was an experience. I grew spiritually and increased my faith. And now I believe that everything happens for a reason. I am now happier than ever with my new job. I now make more money than what I was previously making. I love my job and I am so happy with it. I'm sure everything will turn out for the best. Good Luck to you.

Sorry to hear that you got fired. Well, maybe try to go to some relaxation place (ie. a beach) or some place where u can scream out loud. I'm sure you will feel alot of better after letting yourself scream. I always do that.........and I will try the roller coaster (the only place where I can scream freely).
Maybe u can try looking for jobs that is less complicated for awhile. As time goes by, I'm sure you will get a better job.
Good luck!! and don't worry bout tomorrow cos I'm sure every thing will goes fine with you, if you believe in yourself.

Getting fired was the best thing that ever happened to me, I started my own business and after running it 30 years retired quite comfortably.
