King Fortis the Brave, Harry Potter and Eragon are my favorites!
If I had to pick a most favorite it would probably be King Fortis. The characters are the most believable and it has the right mix of action and humor.

The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton
I loved this book from when I read it in junior high. At the time I was really appreciative how Hinton accurately captured the motives, thoughts, and opinions of a delinquent 14-year-old boy and how his life is changed forever by one event. It was quite interesting!

The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren.
Clearly defines life at profound levels but is completely understandable.
