dont. If you want an alarm, get a nice one from a good installer. That costco one is either going to a: do nothing or B: go off ALL THE ******* TIME and just annoy you.

Well, putting in an alarm is very tricky, especially if it has features like remote start. I have a Viper alarm in my truck, and it has a main box, and about 8 connector that go into it, The alarm hooks to many different parts of the car, like the power locks, the door switches, parts of the engine. Your best bet will be just to go have it put in, and most alarms that have a warantee will be voided unless they are installed by a certified installer, so if something happens you won't be covered. So, even though you want to put it in, and I don't blame you, I wanted to install mine, but it is just too much stuff to do, and losing all the benifits of the warantee is not worth it. Just have it installed.
