There are different practices in every country, and even differences from industry to industry. For the best response, get a wizard/format from the country where you wish to apply for a job. If possible try and find out if there are any industry standards.

I think Microsoft Word comes with one. If you have Microsoft Word 2003, go to file, then New, then on the side bar on the right select On My Computer, then select the tab called Other Documents and then select Resume Wizard.

Do u have ms office or works?, if so, you can open a new document and use a resume template.
If u want another software go to www.download.com, there are a lot of free software in there.
