Go to start, run, enter restore and that takes you to a site with ab icon that says restui. Click that and get a screen restore or create restore point. Click restore to previous time and choose a date on the callender before you lost paint.

OPEN "ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS", CLICK "ADD/REMOVE MICROSOFT COMPONENTS". WHEN THE "WINDOWS COMPONENTS WIZARD" OPENS HIGHLIGHT "ACCESSORIES AND UTILITIES" THEN CLICK "DETAILS". NOW HIGHLIGHT "ACCESSORIES" AND CLICK DETAILS. SCROLL TO PAINT AND CHECK IT.CLICK OK UNTIL ALL THE POP- UPS ARE CLOSED. THEN YOU'LL SEE "PLEASE WAIT" WHILE WINDOWS UPDATES IT'S SETTINGS. NOW YOU SHOULD FIND PAINT IN YOUR START MENU!
