The center touches the ball every play. The QB-C exchange is critical for the plays success. If you are not mature enough to handle the position, tell your coach that you dont want to play the position. Dont let your team down.

Trust me, it does feel kinda weird the first few times, but as long as the guy isn't feeling up your crotch area, you'll be ok. As for wearing a cup, I did. Not because of the qb, but because a lot of times, the center is in a bad situation in the middle of the line, and players will squeeze your balls, punch you in the balls, or kick you in the balls if given a chance, and the ref won't always be there to bail you out. Just concentrate on making good exchanges between you and the qb and you'll be ok.

Hey Rob, seems like this is an issue for some fellas, bro, dont let it bother you, first off if you wear a cup, the QB pressure hand sit fully against that and not on your package.
Next tell your coach bro that you like the pressure hand on your cup, not your butt, may seem odd but its the place to be if you dont want a dude on your butt.
Besides further under the better to avoid a fumble, give a shout if you have a question. Best of luck/

If you are even thinking about that when you take the field, you need to evaluate why you are playing football in the first place. Not trying to be harsh, but you need to focus on a good snap and protection. You'll get enough slaps on the *** if you play well.

He doesn't put them in your butt! He puts them between your thighs to receive the snap so you don't hit yourself in the nuts with the ball trying to snap it to him.

yes, and who came up with this "play"!!! Were the "inventors" of this "strategy" conscious? Were they drunk? And how did they end up in that position? "I'm sure it can all be explained scientifically.

If you're homophobic or have issues, try another position.
