Ferret

Do not get a ferret. They are a lot of work and sometimes quite the handful. Some need to be taught not to bite and only one out of 100 is cuddly. The rest of them are to busy to bother with that sissy stuff. They get a little more physical as they age. Ferrets need special foods and cannot live with just any old kitty litter, so that'll cost you. Ferrets are prone to diseases that can get very expensive. Do you have time to scoop the litter pan twice a day and to wash the whole cage down weekly. Do you feel like cutting nails and cleaning ears about every to to three weeks. How about giving baths once a month or so? Oh, and how do you feel about the ferret having to have at least 4 hours out of the cage wanting to interact with you? Besides, judging by your list I have a feeling you won't like the way they smell, though that can be minimized.
BTW, all animals smell if you don't take care of them.
Why don't you get a rat? They are loveable, smart, not too big or small, trainable and widely available in all kinds of color combos. And I think they are pretty and just plain cool.

I think you want a teddy bear. Honestly the only pet that I can think of that would be close would be a rabbit or a guinea pig. The only thing is, not all animals are cuddly/affectionate. Perhaps in time, but only if they trust you.

I'm thinking a minuature floppy, it's a bread of rabbit! They are so cute and cuddly and sweet! You might want to get two, but make sure they're the same sex, but they do poo A LOT! That's probebly the only major setback. I had a bunny and it ran away and got hit by a car, so if you want to let them loose in your backyard or something make sure you have a good fence they can't get through.

sounds like you want a bunny... they do make good pets.. easy to take care of. But if their cages aren't cleaned every 2nd or 3rd day, they will smell up the room quickly.

If you're wanting to be entertained, go with a ferrit... they are mischevious little critters though, and LOVE getting into things. They have a slight odour to them, its the oils in their coat. Same goes with their cage.. but they use a small litter box similar to a cat litter box.

hope you find your perfect pet!
