its so hot hea in NY and i jus cant stand the heat ..cant afford a ac for my room so any tips or tricks on how to keep your room really cool to avoid the heat ?>>>??

If you have a fan, put it in the window facing OUT. That gets the HOT air OUT of your room without bringing it into the room!

They make these things called aqua coolers, that you can find @ Walmart, ect,. that cost about $3.00. You soak the thing in water for a few minutes, then it stays REALLY cool for several days! You tie it around your neck like a scarf, or can use as a head=band!! They really do work to keep you cool!
