did sophies curse go away im not sure if it did and how?

Book or movie?
In the book, her curse was really caused by herself, and in the end she realizes this and lifts it off of herself. The movie is a little fuzzier, because she ends up being young again, but her hair is still grey. But I think overall, yes her curse is lifted, and she's the one who lifts it.

No. The spell is still within her.
Both of the movie and book is trying to show determination and love can led to one's showing true self.
Basically, she is not old and she does not have magic powders.
She enter into Howl's realm and thus things magical happens.
I think sophie really has a way with words.
