My 24-port Switch is making LOUD noise.?

Before this, it was working silently and smoothly but out of a sudden, it starts making annoying and loud noise that is very disrupting. Could it be the fan? Is it repairable?

It might be cooling fan blade might bent and touch at the supporting arms. you can repair it by open the outer shell of the switch and slightly correct the bent blade

could be the fan...you can open it up and clean it and/or oil up the barrel of the fan.
