After I got my tubes tied a year ago, I have had really bad cramps during the 1st 2 days of my period. Is that normal?

I would say that it is usually normal to have cramps, but if it gets worse than you should get it checked out. Better to be safe, than sorry. With me having my tubes tied, I didn't have a period for almost 6 months. When I did, I thought I was going to die, the cramps were so bad. If the pain gets unbearable and the periods are unusally heavy, get it checked out. Mine lead to a blood clot.

Yes, I have had the same thing!! It does get better (at least it did for me) I seem to have my worst cramps on the 2nd day and my period has gotten lighter (longer unfortunately) but lighter. It has been 5 years since I had mine done.

Probably not! You really should see your OBGYN. Sometimes it takes years for them to figure things out, you could be 1/2 dead by then!
If the pain is so bad you can't medicate it, or sleep, go back 'til they figure it out!

I HAVE HEARD THAT GETTING YOUR TUBES TIED MAKES CRAMPS WORSE, BUT GO TO YOUR GYN. TO MAKE SURE CYSTS OR TUMORS AREN'T FORMING --THESE THINGS ALSO CAUSE REALLY BAD CRAMPS.
