who thinks the avs are gonna do good this year?

Scoring will be good, but i dont know how they will do defensively. If theo is good as before the new rules then aves will be awesome. i am an avid colorado fan and sure hope theo buckles down and is awesome in goal. GO SAKIC!!!

Yes. I think they have a solid Goalie in Theodore. Liles and Leopold is a solid pair. Sakic , Hejduk and Svatos will all gave over 75 points. The west is tough and I really do not care for the Avs , but they have a fast team good checkers and grinders and their power play is going to be solid. Edmonton who knows what they were thinking. Its you guys , San Jose ,Calgary and maybe Detroit , but they are weak in goal.

Being a Red Wing fan, it's ignorant people like the above poster that give the rest of us fans a bad name. Do I hope the Wings beat the Avs? Yes. However, I still respect them.

Me. The only team that could challenge them is the Detroit Redwings. Both are good teams but I think the Avs have what it takes.

no way the avs play in to good of a divison now with edmonton calgary and vancouver all having solid teams and minny not being bad colorado has to get wayne gretzky and patrick roy
and whoever said calgary was weak in goal suck on big fat vesnia trophy

Yes. I think they'll do very good this season. They'll win the Northwest Division Title. They've got my favourite goalie of all time in Jose Theodore(wish he's still playing for Montreal). Can't go wrong with that.

not me i think they fell off from being one of the major teams, so did Detroit and the Rangers are slipping they already fell off the winning the Cup but they are getting there chances, I see it as one of those teams that people don't really cheer for so a Canadian team maybe the Flames
