Yeppers! masturbation is a self pleasing activity in many primates, such as monkeys, chimps and in Bonobos. Most mammals do have a clitoris, but it appears the pleasure nerves are in most primates. I'm not 100% sure on that, though.

Birds will do it, too, probably to vent sexual frustrations. My cockatiels do this often, usually when breeding season rolls around at my place. If they have no mate and I leave the lights on for too long, some parrot hens will have long and noisy relationships with their food bowls >.< .

Dogs will masturbate, as will horses. In fact horses that masturbate too often will harm muscles in the pelvic area! My rats will sometimes masturbate, but it's only if they're in heat and something rubs their rump.

yes they do in fact, but its not the same for animals as it is humans.

in fact my bird masturbates.
it doesnt give him pleasure but being a baby he must explore.

Yes, they do. My dog does it, especially in front of church ladies! That's his favorite past time whenever we have company, sadly.

yes they do. My two male horses do it and they are both gelded. Stallions and geldings do it. i think every animals does it.
